The IQ's compact footprint for docks and its self-emptying feature are both nice features. However, if you want to change the floor levels on the map or create no-go zones, you'll have manually reset it to do so, which is a bit of a hassle.
The IQ's app comes with advanced mapping and automation features but it's missing no-go zones which are included on iRobot models. Its smart-pathing system allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is effective however it can be stuck on the tassels of the rug.
During our tests in our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of hair from bare floors and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpets which was a struggle to reach dirt and dust embedded in the fibers. It was able to maneuver the legs of a chair, tiny spaces as well as the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on floors that were not paved however it soon recovered speed and performed more thoroughly than the other robots we tested.
The IQ is a better choice over the iRobot Roomba 694 for most uses. It has a larger dustbin and lasts longer on charge, and does a better job of getting over obstacles. It also comes with a mopping attachment that can deal with sticky messes. On the other side, the iRobot is more durable and has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement, incurs lower recurring costs and creates virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It is able to even resume the cleaning process from where it left off in case it is unable to recharge its battery prior to having completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice commands, which is an advantage for many users.
Eufy 11S
The RoboVac 11S eufy robot vacuum isn't among the most feature-rich models, but it does offer powerful cleaning power at an affordable price. It's designed for those who don't require a complicated mapping system or an app to control the device. This robot will last for up to an hour. It comes with the remote control, cleaning tool and AC power adapter.
The 11S is slim and sleek with an upper deck of tempered glass that is covered with plastic, which is finished to appear like brushed aluminum. It's a nice aesthetic departure from Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more practical and industrial.
In our tests, the eufy11S was excellent at picking up larger particles and fine dust on hard flooring. It struggled to deep clean medium and high-pile carpets. It is also prone to smack into furniture and people that are in its path however, it is able to detect obstacles with sensors. It stops and emits a loud noise when it encounters an obstacle. You can then manually steer the device around it to restart it.
The BoostIQ mode is another fantastic feature of the eufy11S. It lets you set the robot up to automatically adjust suction strength based on the type of floor and the amount of mess. The remote control makes it simple to direct the 11S to your desired location.
Single Room Mode is a great option for those with small furniture in the room you want to vacuum. The eufy will take 30 minutes intensely cleaning the space it's assigned.
You can also choose Edge Cleaning which restricts the amount of time in each location to 20 minutes to ensure optimal battery life. If you select this option, the eufy will move in a spiral pattern to clean edges and corners for an efficient clean.

It's not as powerful as more expensive models, but it's ideal for deep cleaning and tackling staining.
