The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.
Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can choose the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It is able to even remove wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also comes with an website intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
